Your public page
Set up the branded homepage donors see: ways to give and prayer times.
Every masjid on InflowBooks gets its own public page on its own web address, themed in your colours and logo. It is the page the community sees when they visit you online: a warm, simple homepage that introduces the masjid and shows people how to support it.
What the page can show
Depending on what you choose to fill in, your public page can include:
- A welcome header with your masjid name, a short tagline and your contact details.
- Live prayer times, based on the location you set in Settings.
- Your active campaigns, that is the one-time funds you have marked to show publicly. Each one gets its own page with a shareable link, showing its progress and the ways to give.
- Clear ways to give, so visitors can support the masjid however suits them.
- Your committee, so visitors can see who runs the masjid and how to reach them.
- Your areas and their leaders, so members know who looks after their part of the mahallu.
- Your noticeboard: a death in the community with the janaza and burial times at each place, and the programmes you have coming up. A death notice is shown at the top of the page.
Ways to give
You decide which payment methods appear, and you fill in the details under Settings. If you leave a method blank, it simply does not appear on the page.
- UPI
- Your UPI ID, shown with a QR code that donors can scan from their phone to pay you directly.
- Bank transfer
- Your account details, so donors can send a transfer straight to the masjid account.
- In person
- Your contact details, for anyone who would like to hand in a donation by hand.

Your committee
You can introduce your office bearers on the page: the president, the secretary, the treasurer, and anyone else the community should know. Open Settings and go to Committee on the public page, then add each person. Only a name is required; a position, a phone number and a photo are optional, and only what you fill in is shown.
The Order field decides who comes first, and the first three lead the section as large photo cards, with everyone else following underneath. Put your president, secretary and treasurer at the top and the page reads the way your committee board does.
This list is separate from the logins in Committee members. Someone can appear on the public page without having an account, and someone with an account does not appear unless you add them here. Use the switch on that page to hide one person for a while, or the section switch in Settings to hide the whole list.
Areas and their leaders
If you use clusters to divide the mahallu into areas, you can show them on the page so a household knows which area they belong to and who convenes it. Turn on Clusters on the public page in Settings.
Each area shows its name and its leaders' names, with their positions where you have set them. Where a unit is convened by two or three people, each one gets their own phone number and photo, so a household knows exactly who to ring. You add those on the Clusters page under Houses, and both are optional per person: leave the number out for anyone who would rather not have it published, and anyone without a photo shows as their initials.
The same page takes an area contact number, for the area itself rather than a person: an office line, or the one number to ring when no leader wants their mobile listed. It appears under the leaders, labelled as the area's number. A member's own recorded phone number is never shown on the public page, and any area you would rather not publish can be left off the list from that page.
Inviting members to sponsor your subscription
Members often like to gift the mahallu something that lasts. If you turn on Invite members to sponsor the subscription in Settings, a Sponsor InflowBooks button appears in the header of your public page, with a line in the footer, inviting them to gift the mahallu its next year of InflowBooks. It leads to a pledge page where they choose one, two or three years. InflowBooks confirms with your committee, takes the payment, and extends your term from its current end date. A sponsor never receives a login and never sees your records.
The line shows only while a gift can still be added. A mahallu can hold at most three paid years ahead, so once you are covered that far the invitation disappears on its own and returns as the term runs down. It is off by default.
Setting up your public page
- Turn the public page on under Settings. When it is off, visitors see only a simple welcome and just your committee uses the address.
- Fill in your ways to give in Settings: your UPI ID, bank account details, and contact details for in-person giving. Leave out anything you do not want shown.
- Set your prayer-times location in Settings so the page shows accurate times.
- Mark any one-time fund as a public campaign if you would like it featured on the page.
- Share your web address with the community, on posters, messages or social media.
Keeping it private
If you switch the public page off in Settings, anyone visiting your web address sees a simple welcome message instead of the full page. Your committee can still use the same address to reach the dashboard and sign in as usual.
