InflowBooks documentation
Everything you need to run your masjid's records on InflowBooks, written in plain language. No technical background required. If you can read a bank statement, you can use this guide.
What is InflowBooks?
InflowBooks is a simple tool for keeping a masjid's records in order: who contributes each month, what has been collected and spent, and where it all went. It replaces the notebook and the spreadsheet with something your whole committee can share, and it gives your masjid its own branded page where the community can see how to give.
Getting started
Everyday use
Members Keep a register of everyone who contributes, and their monthly subscription. Recording payments Log monthly subscriptions and one-time donations, and issue receipts. Funds and campaigns Organise money by purpose: general, building, Ramadan and Eid campaigns. Collections Record lump-sum donations from the box, Friday bucket or other sources. Expenses Track what goes out: salaries, utilities, maintenance and more. Follow-up rounds Who is behind on their subscription, how far behind, and a printed ward sheet to walk with, with what came back from each door recorded against it. Staff and salary The people the masjid employs, what each post is paid, the monthly salary run, advances, and the payslip each person is handed. Cash book How much the organisation holds and where it sits: the cash box, the bank, deposits between them, and a statement that matches the counted box. Reports and receipts Produce statements, Outstanding lists and branded receipts as PDF or CSV. WhatsApp messages (beta) Send payment reminders and announcements over WhatsApp. A beta feature the platform admin turns on. Noticeboard Death notices with the janaza and burial times, plus events and announcements on your public page.
Community register
Houses and families For mahallu masjids: group members into households with relationships. Certificates Nikah NOC, marriage, death, birth and membership certificates: the register, the numbered paper and the verification QR.
